Wednesday, September 8, 2021 was to be a great night of Street Series racing with the Sportsman class running for the Wally in the NHRA.TV Challenge. Unfortunately, there was a prediction of storms and rain but like the Valley, it wasn't until later on in the evening that a lightening storm followed by rain would hamper the finish of the race.
For those who were in attendance, the evening was short lived but some classes did complete. The Sportsman class did get down to the final five cars and split the purse. It was decided to meet at a later date to complete the race for the special trophy.
There are two more Wednesday night Street Nights left for the season which will host some special races in all the Street Categories along with Street Car Test and Tune. Gates open at 5pm. Racing begins at 6pm.
