Wednesday Street Night Results

Great turnout for end of season Wednesday Night Street. Photo courtesy of John Orloff

With two Wednesday nights left on the season, ending at the end of September, the racing held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 saw a good turnout in the racing classes and the test and tune.

Greg Lattarulo of South Windsor, CT, the winner of the Sportsman ET class received a special NHRA.TV Challenge wally and NHRA hat when he defeated Billy Kirpens, Jr in the final. Ron Christie of Wingdale, NY lost in the semi-finals. I normally don't point out the actually race times but with the final of this race, it is a must. Lattarulo ran on his dial-in with a zero as did Kirpens. The win was determined off the starting line by the reaction times when Lattarulo had a .026 to Kirpens' .039.

Bob Bradley of Fort Edward, NY took home another trophy when he defeated Nick Nafumi of Monson MA in the final of Pure Street Motorcycle. Larry Hoyt, Jr. of Saugerties, NY was defeated in the semi-finals.
