Running a string of Wednesday Nights together without Mother Nature ruining the festivities of racing and testing and tuning for street cars has been great. It looks as if this upcoming week may be another one. We will cross our fingers that the weather forecast is correct with great weather.
The results for Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Lebanon Valley saw some repeat winners and some old time faces. In Sportsman ET, Russ Wilber of Ghent, NY defeated Nelson Belot, of Pittsfield, MA in the final. Craig Couture of Stillwater, NY was defeated in the semi-finals.
In Street Trophy, a class for beginning racers who are not a points member in another Summit ET class, Tim Patterson of Williamstown, NY defeated Chris Badcock of Berlin, NY. Ed Cooper of Conway, MA was defeated in the semi-finals.
Pure Street Motorcycle racer Bob Bradley of Fort Edward, NY defeated Kevin Manchester of Winsted, CT. Nicky Pafumi of Monson, MA and Adam Sheran Chester, MA lost in the semi-finals.
Street Stick was won by Ken Boyer of Palmer, MA. Unfortunately, the runner up didn't have the appropriate number on their tech card so I don't have an identity. Marc Faucher of Cheshire, MA lost in the semi-finals.
