Sunday's Cold Cash Gamblers Winners at the Valley of Speed

Cam Murray, winner of Sportsman Eliminator Cold Cash Gamblers

Sunday, September 26, 2021 concluded the two day Cold Cash Gamblers races with winners in the four categories, some old, some new, some seeing a bit of redemption.

Cam Murray of South Hampton, NH took the top spot in the Sportsman category when Rocco Saccone, Jr. of Northport, NY turned on the red light in the final. This was Murray’s redemption, as he had lost earlier in the Pro Category and hadn’t seen the winner’s circle at the Valley in four years. Billy Kirpens, Jr. who dominated the categories on Saturday with three wins, had his day come to an end when he lost in the semi’s to Murray.

The motorcycle eliminator contested Ron Blake of Oxford, CT against Jonathan Tisdale from Napanoch, NY. Blake took the victory when Tisdale went under his dial in. Gary Russell failed for the bid in the finals when he lost to Tisdale in the semi's.

Pro Eliminator was an exciting finish seeing Mark Lataille of Southbridge, MA defeating Ben Strong of Southwick, MA in a double breakout crowning Lataille with his first victory. TJ Gennett's attempt to stop Lataille failed when Gennett lost in the semi's against him.

Super Eliminator competitor Grant Nichols of Marlborough, CT took the win over Ray Knight of Fall River, MA when Knight turned on the red light. Val DeGenova of Derry, NH tried to get his foot in the final but was eliminated in the semi-finals. Unfortunately, Gary Carbone ran into some engine difficulty and couldn't make the call to the semi's.

Congratulations to all!!
