On Sunday, June 2, 2024 racers and spectators were treated to the second successful Summit ET Points race sponsored by Foley's Garage in Altamont, NY. The weather was warm and sunny leaving many to reach for the sun screen and those who didn't leaving the track a little on the crispy side but no one was complaining.
In Super Pro, Ray Stanton of Poughkeepsie, NY took the win when he defeated Tom Flemke, Jr of East Hampton, CT. George Foster of Cortlandt Manor, NY finished in the semi-finals.
Michael Bloch of Colchester, CT defeated Warren Wright of Salem, CT in the final of Pro Eliminator. Joe Grasso of Higganum, CT finished in the semi-finals.
Jonathan Tisdale of Napanoch, NY defeated Adam Sheran of Blandford, MA in the final of Motorcycle/sled Eliminator. Matt Gazaille of Putnam, CT and Louie Supczak of Ware, MA finished in the semi-finals.
Zach Grignon of Troy, NY defeated Haven Spring of Wetherfield, CT in Junior Dragsters. Michael Porfilio of East Longmeadow, MA and Zoey Thorpe of Hollowville, NY finished in the semi-finals.
Junior Street was won by Juleyen Laughran-Carter of Bernardston, MA when he defeated David Marriner of Albany, NY in the final. Gavin Russo of Norfolk, CT and Giuseppe Porfilio of East Longmeadow, MA finished in the semi-finals.
Missy Billetts of Rensselaer, NY debuted her new ride on Sunday and took the win in Open Trophy when she defeated Dana Stockwell of Canton, CT. Garry Daury of New Lebanon, NY finished in the semi-finals.
Join us next Sunday, June 9, 2024 as we celebrate the life of Michele Potter who was taken too soon as a result of cancer and to all those whom we've loved in life and have now passed over due to cancer. Gates open at 8:00am. Racing begins at 9:30am. There will be a moment of silence in memory of all those who are no longer with us before first round of eliminations. Spectator entry is $15.
