Saturday, June 18 & Sunday, June 19 Race Results

Friends and family of Matt Billetts gather in his memory.

On Saturday, June 18, 2022, there was to be the All-Stars race one of two, NODRAMA, test and tune and some gamblers races. Typically, these would be completed however, it appears that someone had a great idea that the crew at LV needed some practice in clean up and the hits just kept coming.

The All-Star Stock Association will complete their race beginning with round three on Saturday, June 25. NODRAMA completed their race where they finished and as Jason Heintz quoted, “Since the gang got timed out, we closed the event with a final 4 Jeff Kraenzle, Andre Holhoch, Shane Shahinian and new member, Alan Dwy. The gamblers races were completed where they ended and split in the semi’s. Just as things got finished up, Mother Nature decided to put a period on the windiest and coldest day, decided a nice rain shower would be appropriate.

Sunday, June 19 presented a Summit ET Points Race sponsored by Innovative Performance along with another All-Star Stock Association race. Due to the number of vehicles in competition, the program was cut to one time trial and the eliminations were underway.

A special moment of silence was held in memory of Matt Billetts on Sunday. Matt has been part of the Lebanon Valley Dragway family along with his entire family. Matt was called home to be with the Angels at the tender age of 16 as a result of a medical emergency that led to an unfortunate accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Billetts family as was evident by the display of #4MoparMatt. May he Rest In Peace.

Here are the results:

Dominic Demicco, winner of Super Eliminator

Kurt Burns, runner up and Skip Wilcox, winner of Open Trophy

Jenna Nichols, winner of Junior Dragster

Kim Kiniry, winner of Motorcycle/sled eliminator.

Tom Boucher, winner of the ASRA race on Sunday.
