Review of the End of 2022 Season Schedule at Lebanon Valley Dragway


Lebanon Valley Dragway will conclude the 2022 drag racing season at the end of October. There are a lot of events yet to be held. Here is a listing of the final events providing Mother Nature cooperates.

Any changes in the schedule or cancellations will be posted on Facebook or the website, www.dragway.com.


Saturday, October 8 – Open Test & Tune for All Vehicles,

NODRAMA (Northeast Old Drag Racers And Musclecar Association) PLUS

DOC Z SHOOTOUT

Gates open at 8am, racing beings at 9:00am-ends approx. 4pm.

Technical inspection for racing closes at 11:30am.

DOC Z SHOOTOUT

Two Classes: Bigger Tire Class - Any Tire. Any smaller tire may run the Bigger Tire class. Smaller Tire Class - True 10.5” wide measured with max height 29.5” stamped. Drag Radials up to and including the 295/65 tire.

RULES (all classes): -All Cars must participate in a Cruise earlier that day prior to racing -Methanol will be allowed this year -You can cruise on any fuel you want -All Cars must be registered and inspected -Registration and Insurance Cards need to be shown -VIN on car must match registration -Alternator/Radiator required -If it has an inspection sticker w/o mufflers...no problem -NO TRANSPORTER OR DEALER PLATES -Charging batteries and external cooling between rounds allowed -All cars MUST drive to the staging lanes and back—NO TOWING -One Time Trial -possibly 2, time dependent -The race will be random pairing -Bye–runs must make a pass down the track -Instant Green Start / NO TIME DISPLAYED / WIN LIGHTS ONLY -No time slips during eliminations -Specified pit area where everyone can pit together -First Round Losers MAY BUY-BACK for $500 which will go into the payout -Doc Z Reserves the Final Right to determine compliance with rules -Payout posted is minimum -MORE CARS = HIGHER PAYOUT For each class! -Big Tire vs Small Tire final is for an extra $500 -Sponsors Welcome for either Class or the Final—Contact Doc Z.

Entry Fee: - $150 If Pre-Registered -$180 to register at the Gate

Racers $35; License Runs/Single Runs/No Time $60; $12 for Spectators/Crew; $5 children 6-10

Junior Fall Festival Wally Race

Capital Area Rods Car Show & Swap Meet

All vehicles must meet NHRA Tech requirements. Racers do not need to be a points member to participate.

Gates open at 8am. Racing begins at 9:30am. Technical inspection for racing closes at 11:30am.

Payout in Super, Pro, Motorcycle begins with third round winners.

Entry Fee: Super Pro $70; Pro $55; Motorcycle $50; Open Trophy $35;

Junior Dragsters $35

Test & Tune/License Runs/Single Runs/No Time Display $60;

Spectators/Crew $12; Children 6-10 $5

Car Show- $12 Entry, Gates 7:30-12noon; Awards at approx. 3pm. Swap Meet 7am-3pm $35/vendor

Gates open at 10:30am. Drag racing from 12pm-5pm. Technical inspection closes for entry to test session at 1pm.

All NHRA Rules apply.

Save Money and Pre-register $70 up to 5:00pm the day prior to the rental or pay $100 at the gate the day of rental.

Gates open at 8am, racing beings at 9:00am-ends approx. 4pm.

Technical inspection for racing closes at 11:30am.

Racers $35; Bikes in the Valley Racers Street and Pro ET Class $65; 9.2 Below $100

License Runs/Single Runs/No Time $60

$12 for Spectators/Crew; $5 children 6-10.

​Port-A-Tree Gamblers (Non-Electronic and Electronic categories)- Must pay additional $20 in the tower office prior to first round of eliminations; entrants who wish to participant in the points program must sign up in the office at no charge prior to first round of eliminations. Payout day of the race: Winner/Runner up for up to 16 cars. Winner, runner up and semis if over 16 cars

Gates open at 10:30am. Drag racing from 12noon-5pm.

Technical inspection closes for entry to test session at 12pm. All NHRA Rules apply.

Save Money and Pre-register $80 up to 5:00pm the day prior to the rental or pay $110 at the gate the day of rental.

Spectators/Crew $12; $5 Children 6-10

Racers-please do not park in main parking lot due to a drifting event.

Gates open at 8am, racing beings at 9:30am. Technical inspection for racing closes at 11:30am.

Gamblers (must pay additional $20 payable in the office to participate) Non-Electronics & Electronics Classes. Payout day of the race: Winner/Runner up for up to 16 cars. Winner, runner up and semis if over 16 cars.

All vehicles must meet NHRA Tech requirements.
