NYS Championship & To Time/No Rules Crowns Winners

Father and daughter, Grant and Jenna Nichols take on the day ending it in the winner circle.

What seemed to be the longest weekend on record for track drying, Friday, September 29, 2023 was to be the beginning of a two day event for Scottiwheels and RJ Miolla's No TImes/No Rules weekend event. Well Mother Nature stepped in a squashed that idea and rained on day one. Determined to see the event through the track crew along with Mass Traction worked diligently on Saturday to push through morning showers and got the track prepped for a late day start.

As much racing as could safely be done was run through early Saturday evening when the plug was pulled and it was decided to split the winnings in some of the classes and run the rest on Sunday morning where the weather forecast looked to be much better along with the regularly scheduled events of the Capital Area Rods Fall Car Show and Swap meet with the New York State Championship races for Super, Pro, Motorcyle and Juniors along with open trophy and test and tune.
