At the end of the 2023 racing season and with the closing of the dragway for the winter, new work has been going on making major improvements to the track and pit area. With so many tracks facing closure, Lebanon Valley Dragway will continue to offer a great quarter mile track for racers in the northeast and beyond with a new asphalt surface from the starting line to past the quarter mile.
Milling of the old pavement began a week ago and the asphalt millings that were removed were relocated to the pit area in the field where new roadways were cut in defining new pit areas and accesses in the center section and to the right side fields.
More changes are coming and will be announced throughout the winter months. Thanks to Howard Commander for standing by the management and racers to make Lebanon Valley a great place to race.
