Wednesday, August 21, 2024 was another round of street night competition that almost finished until it, you got it! Rained! The skies above were changing colors all night under the setting sun as test and tune and competition classes took to the track. Three of the four classes finished the night. Sportsman was the odd man out and was down to the final four competitors when an rogue shower damped the evening, ending the night's festivities but not before Billy Kirpens, Jr. of Pittsfield, MA was crowned 2024 Sportsman ET Lebanon Valley Dragway Track Champion. That now makes his 26th Track Championship with 12 in Pro Eliminator and 14 in Street!! Congratulations! With one week left in the points, we shall see how the remainder of the classes shake out.
