Import Face-Off Invades The Valley of Speed

Runner up in the Outlaw class

On Sunday, July 28, 2024 the skies were shining as Import Face-Off brought all types of imports to Lebanon Valley Dragway. Spectators were treated to an awesome car show as well as drag racing for a fun filled day of excitement and fun.



What a finish in the Bracket Class to the delight of onlookers. It was a final that had everyone talking. Nicky Olivieri of Fishkill, NY and Nicholas Volpe of Poughkeepsie, NY shared the 2022 Hyundai Accent in competition. Both drivers did their job and made it to the final round. Where most would have called it a tie and walked away, they didn't. It became a foot race between the two to crown the champion of the class, with Nicky Olivieri taking top honors. Eddie Alvarez of New Windsor, NY and Roberto Martinez of New Windsor, NY finished their day in the semi-finals.



Noel Delgado of Waterbury, CT took the win in the 11.5 Index class when he defeated Frenando Romero of Brenwood, NY. Djory Brandan of Brockton, MA and Mike Colvett of Fort Edward, NY finished in the semi-finals.


In the Front Wheel Drive class Roddy Sanchez of Providence, RI defeated Juan Rodriguez of Schenectady, NY. Luis Torres-Diaz of Waterbury, CT and Elienzev Cerezo of Attleboro, MA finished in the semi-finals.


The Outlaw Class was the crowd pleaser. Jose Couvertier of Syracuse, NY defeated Carlos "Suzuki" in the final Nelson Mercez of Waterbury, CT finished in the semi-finals.



In Forced Induction Sport, Savong Sam of Cranston, RI took the win over Angelo Losavio of Mechanicville, NY. Ali Wronick of Bristol, CT and Enoc Rosa of Springfield, MA finished their day in the semi-finals.

The All-Motor Pro Final saw Jose Morales of Holyoke, MA defeate Jakelyn Smith of Worcester, MA.
