First Wednesday Street Night in the Books at LVD

Wednesday, May 1, 2024 was the first scheduled Innovative Performance Street Night at Lebanon Valley Dragway and it went off without a hitch. Racers attended to compete in the Summit ET Sportsman Series, Street Stick, Street Trophy and Pure Street Motorcycle bracket classes on the quarter mile as well as test and tune for street vehicles. Street Nights will run from now until the end of September every Wednesday unless otherwise noted on the schedule. Although the bracket classes run for points for the season, a competitor does not have to be a points member to race in the class. Classes are open to anyone wishing to compete.


The Sportsman ET class season was kicked off by a win of Joe Coss of Burlington, CT over Jeff Miller of Suffern, NY. Rodney Humistan, Sr of Fort Edward, NY lost in the semi-finals.

The Street Trophy class which is a class where competitors can get a better idea on what bracket racing is all about was won by Rodney Humisten, Jr. of Fort Edward, NY when he defeated Gary Daury of New Lebanon, NY. Rich Brown and Glenn Koblenzer lost in the semi-finals.

The Street Stick class was won by Dan Murphy of Oxford, CT when he defeated Zack Leavitt of New Lebanon, NY. Leon Chouinard of Chicopee, MA lost in the semi-finals.

The Pure Street Motorcycle class was won by Bob Bradley of Fort Edward, NY when he defeated Rich Kopec of Cairo, NY.
