Billy Kirpens, Jr. winner of Sportsman ET dedicates his win to track photographer, Neil Van Zile..

When it comes down to the final rounds on the final points night in the Street Classes you know it's been a great year with some tough competition. Wednesday, August 31, 2022 was just such a night. Although the points are completed in the classes for the year, the classes will continue throughout the month of September on every Wednesday night for some fun competition. The Sportsman ET class will now race only to the 1/8 mile instead of the 1/4 mile. This will be the only class to run to the eighth. All other classes as well as test and tune will remain on the quarter of a mile. The purpose of this is to allow for our Sportsman racers to have the opportunity to run on the eighth in preparation for the bracket finals to be held at Maple Grove Dragway on September 22-24 as part of Team Lebanon Valley.

In the Sportsman ET class, Billy Kirpens, Jr. of Pittsfield, MA displaying RIP Neil in dedication to a long time track photographer at Lebanon Valley, Neil Van Zile, who unfortunately passed away, finished the points as Champion along with a win that was dedicated to Neil over Michael Bloch of Colchester, CT beginning the run with a perfect .000 reaction time. Justin Bruso of Southbridge, MA finished in the semi's.

Street Stick's Ed Wallace Middletown, CT defeated Marc Faucher of Cheshire, MA in the final resulting in a tie for second place in the Street Stick points.
