The sunset tells it all. It was a hot one, both in the air and on the track for those who braved the night heat to run their cars on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. A shortened program due to the low car count had everyone out at a early hour compared to most Wednesdays but the racing in the points classes was on point as the area dodged some pop up storms that followed a southern path away from the track.
In the Sportsman Class, Billy Kirpens, Jr. of Pittsfield, MA took the victory over Matthew Nesbitt of Schenectady, NY. Michael Bloch of Colchester, CT and Paul Pattarulo of South Windsor, CT finished in the semi-fnials.
Marc Faucher of Cheshire, MA defeated Vince Berzal of Saugerties, NY in the final of Street Stick. Tim Olsen of Katohah, NY finished in the semi-finals.
Duke Huyck of Valatie, NY took top honors when he defeated Bob Bradley of Fort Edward, NY in the finals of the Pure Street Motorcycle Class. Chris Cunningham of Nassau, NY finished in the semi-finals.
