Bikes in the Valley Kick Start the 2024 Season at LVD

On Saturday, May 4, 2024 the Orient Express Bikes in the Valley kicked started their 2024 season at Lebanon Valley Dragway with three classes of competition with 48 competitors. The Bikes in the Valley race day was sponsored by Carlson Heating who added additional funds to the winner and runner up.


The M2 Shocks Street Class was won by Ed Johnson of Naugatuck, CT when he defeated Thomas Lafauci of Mastic Beach, NY. Kevin Manchester and Larry Hoyt, Jr. finished in the semi-finals

The Motorcycle Performance Specialties Pro Class was won by Adam Sheran of Blandford, MA when he defeated Jonathan Tisdale from Napanoch, NY. Louie Supczak of Ware, MA finished in the semi-finals.

Matt Gazaille of Putnam, CT won the Schnitz Racing 9.2 Below class when he defeated Thomas Lafauci of Mastic Beach, NY who made it to two on the day for showing in the finals.

Adam Sheran of Blandford, MA finished in the semi-finals just in time to move to the Pro Class final.


In addition to the Bikes in the Valley, quarter-mile gamblers races were held in both electronic and non-electronic classes. Nick Lachapelle of Marlboro, MA defeated Jamie Dymond of Kerhonkson, NY in the final of the electronics gamblers. Billy Blaker of New Rochelle lost in the semi-finals. Scott Carpenter of Poughkeepsie, NY defeated Matt Scribani of Cobleskill, NY in the final of the non-electronic gamblers with Rocco Saccone Jr losing in the semi-finals.
